Tess Wosczyna
has found comfort in painting since 9 years old. Picking up a paintbrush at a friend’s house, she has held onto the feeling it gave her through 12 years, lack of food and stability, loving friendships and relationships, a couple of losses, and hundreds of paintings. While she has grown, the desire to create has grown with it. Tess is finishing her studies at Saint Joseph’s University, taking that need to transcribe the world around her into the rest of her life. Her works aim to connect the personal and the universal through light and color, and revolve around emotion, the interpersonal, and documenting everything we can from each life experience. See her memories through paintings, drawings, and ceramics here.
Tess Wosczyna’s works have been displayed in two exhibitions, Kaleidoscope at Saint Joseph’s University, and Metamorphosis: Echoes of Process at the Francis M. Maguire Art Museum.
